Dr. Ana Nery is a post-doctoral candidate at the University of Lisbon (2022). She obtained her master and PhD in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University, São Paulo (PUC-SP) and her undergraduate degree in law from the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP). In 2012 she was a visiting scholar, invited by Columbia University, New York. She is author of the books Teoria Geral do Termo de Ajustamento de Conduta [General Theory on Agreements to Alter Behavior] , now in its third edition, published by RT/Thomson Reurters in 2017, of Manual de Direito Civil – Contratos [Manual of Civil Law – Contracts] , published by RT in 2014 and of Class Arbitration, published by RT/Thomson Reuters in 2016. She also has a degree as a Mediator from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP) and from Harvard Law School. She is a licenced psychoanalist by Centro de Estudos Psicanalíticos (CEP-SP). She is the Cultural Director of the São Paulo Institute of Attorneys (IASP).
